Stefon Diggs updates some Bills milestones in Panthers win

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis was the one that stood out against the Carolina Panthers in Week 15.

The second-year pro had two touchdown catches against the Panthers in the 31-14 win.

However, fellow wideout Stefon Diggs had an important game himself. His efforts helped the win seeing as he also scored a touchdown.

But deeper than that, Diggs brought some Bills milestones to light.

Along with his touchdown against Carolina, Diggs hauled in four total catches for 35 yards.

That’s all he needed.

With his four grabs, Diggs now has 82 total on the year. In surpassing 80, he becomes the first Bills player to notch 80-plus catches in a single season since Eric Moulds all the way back in 2004-05.

The same thing happened in terms of receiving yards. Diggs’ total in 2021 is now 1,007.

He has become the first Bill to put up consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns since Stevie Johnson in 2011-12.

Both of those numbers follow Diggs’ NFL leading 2020 All-Pro season. He had 127 catches for 1,535 yards last season.
